In a momentous occasion, Amar Seva Sangam proudly inaugurated its “Wastewater Treatment Plant” and “2nd Phase Solar Plant” on the 22nd of October 2023. The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable IT & Broadcasting and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Diaries Minister, L. Murugan, and our esteemed guest of honor, Mr. Muthuramalingam, Chairman of Vellammal Group of Institutions. Their visit was not just about inaugurating infrastructure but also a profound exploration of the transformative service initiatives that define Amar Seva Sangam.

The day commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the light of hope and progress that this institution represents. Amar Seva’s founder, Mr. Ramakrishnan, and Secretary, Mr. Sankaraman, delivered a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the remarkable day ahead.

Minister L. Murugan, in his address, expressed his admiration for Amar Seva’s children, referring to them as God’s gifts to the world. He noted the significant strides made in the field of services for differently-abled individuals, with a special mention of Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives since 2016. He expressed his hope that Amar Seva’s children would achieve similar greatness, even in para-Olympic competitions, echoing the vision of inclusivity and empowerment.

Mr. Muthuramalingam, the Guest of Honor, extended a generous offer, making Vellammal Hospital’s services available to Amar Seva Sangam at minimal costs, ensuring that our service users receive the best care possible.

The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including our dedicated committee members, BJP District Head Rajesh Raja, and Deputy Head Muthukumar.

A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by our Joint Secretary, Mr. Ganesan, expressing gratitude to all those who had made this day possible.

The program was made even more special with captivating dance performances by our home’s talented children, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone present.

The inauguration of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Solar Plant marks a significant step forward for Amar Seva Sangam in our mission to create a more sustainable and inclusive future.
