An annual Medical Camp was organized for children with Developmental disabilities & developmental delays in 8 blocks of Tenkasi District by the Enabling Inclusion team of Amar Seva Sangam along with Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives & Standard Chartered Bank at Amar Seva Sangam campus, Ayikudy on 23rd 2023.

Children aged 0-12 years with disabilities & developmental delay followed through the Early Intervention (EI) program were committed to receiving free services from a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals. Totally 125 children got a consultation & 190 parents attended the camp.

This program was organized to provide the service of a quality multi-specialty medical team consisting of 10 doctors and 1 ECHO technician and 9 MBBS internees and audiology-qualified professionals under one roof for children with disabilities and developmental delays in rural Indian settings who would otherwise not have accessed these services due to long distance of hospitals, cost and time in traveling to medical facility center.
